A little on Sausalito Waterfront History:
The Antidote Restaurant is located in the historic building that was Sally Straffords place in Prohibition. It was also the location for scenes in the 1942 Black and White film "China Girl". The pilings that stick up in the waters in the bay outside the windows and right below what is called "Hurricane Gulch" are a historic landmark from those days of the wild west of San Francisco. There is a spring above the hill which drew sailors to replenish there water supplies. For more information and antique photos visit the Sausalito Visitors Center accross from the Casa Madrona. This location has always been a hotspot in Sausalito.
